She rose to prominence for her role as Olivia Hanan in the Netflix series, Sex Education. Following her role as Olivia, she gained more recognition in the second season of the Netflix drama series Bridgerton. She starred alongside Jonathan Bailey and Charithra Chandran.

She played the role of Kate Sharma, who is in a love triangle with her sister Edwina Sharma (Charithra Chandran) and Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey).

She was born to Indian Tamil parents, Latha and Gunasekharan, and has an older brother.
