Alexey Borisovich Miller, as a result of his affiliation with Russian President Putin, has had his assets frozen.

He has been banned from travelling as well. He was born on January 31, 1962, in Leningrad to an assimilated Russo-German family

His parents were Boris Vasilyevich Miller and Lyudmila Alexandrovna.

He went on to study and acquire a PhD in economics at the Leningrad Institute of Finance and Economics.

Alexei received his diploma and started to work as a postgraduate student at the LenNIIproekt Research Institute in his speciality. Miller graduated from CES in 1989.

Miller now serves as the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Management Committee (CEO) of Russia’s biggest corporation and the world’s largest public energy supplier.
