Kenneth Tsang was discovered in a coma by hotel personnel in a room at the Kowloon Hotel No. 19 Nathan Road in Tsim Sha Tsui.

Police and paramedics were called to the site, and he was declared dead at the spot.

Tsang had previously appeared in mostly Hong Kong films before gaining international recognition.

The Replacement Killers (1998) was his first Hollywood feature.

Tsang re-appeared in Anna and the King, as well as Rush Hour 2.

Tsang portrayed General Moon in the James Bond film Die Another Day (2002), and he continued to feature in many Hong Kong films till his death.
