She has won three Four Continents championship medals (silver in 2016, bronze in 2011 and 2017), two World Junior medals (silver in 2007, bronze in 2008), and the 2007 JGP Final.
She also has seven U.S. national medals (gold in 2008, silver in 2010 and 2018, bronze in 2011 and 2014, pewter in 2016 and 2017).
Mirai became the second-youngest woman in history when she won the US Senior Ladies’ Championship in 2008.
She was the first female winner under the age of 30 since Tara Lipinski in 1997.
